This season, AURA have let themselves go.
Not that they’ve ever been truly constrained, but embracing the idea of Mix and Match seems to have been quite liberating. Why shouldn’t anything go with anything else? And so all the exciting ideas they discovered on their creative journey through India and Rajasthan have come to fruition within a single season. Such colours! So many patterns!
And so, so many new products!
But, as we watched this beautiful new collection emerge from the skilled fingers of the artisans the team at AURA were so lucky to work with in India – the gifted printers and weavers and embroiderers – we realised mix and match has always been a bit of an ethos at AURA.
Contemporary design mixed with ageold hand-crafting techniques. Modern ideas matched with old-fashioned passion. And, above all, everyday living meets the unfettered joy of expression.
