Mollydooker Wines are thrilled to announce the return of their highly anticipated Barrel Hall Dinner – an oh-so decadent evening featuring a four-course, banquet style feast from Hindmarsh Valley’s Lost Phoenix Farm, perfectly matched with their big, juicy Mollydooker Shirazes.
A night not to be missed with an impressive lineup of live music, food and wine, the evening will kick off from 6pm at their Cellar Door in McLaren Vale and will be hosted by Chief Winemaker/CEO Sarah Marquis and her daughter, Holly (or better known as The Gigglepot).
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by the sweet acoustics of local musician Rhys Coventry as they settle into Mollydooker’s lush lawns for some light canapes and a glass of Miss Molly Sparkling Shiraz to start.
The perfect chance to take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the Vale before the main event!
Mollydooker staff will then guide guests into the heart of their Barrel Hall where a long, candlelit table awaits for an indulgent evening of food and award-winning Shiraz as they are guided through the quirky labels and lefthanded tales of the Mollydooker wine-making journey.
“We can’t wait to share our story and Shirazes with our favourite guests for such an intimate occasion,” says Sarah Marquis. “It really is such a special treat to be able to open up our Barrel Hall. The smell of the oak and the atmosphere of the setting is truly something. Who knows, we may even treat everyone to a special museum wine to celebrate!”
Rustic inspired cuisines with a modern Australian twist, guests will enjoy four delicious courses (including dessert!) curated by Lost Phoenix Farm’s Head Chef, Will Doak.
As guests tuck into each course Sarah and Holly will guide them through all five of their award-winning Shirazes beginning with their Miss Molly Sparkling Shiraz followed by Mollydooker’s most well known wine, The Boxer Shiraz and subsequently The Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz, Carnival of Love Shiraz and the most luxe of all, their flagship Velvet Glove Shiraz.
