On Sunday 11th December, Mollydooker Wines are thrilled to be hosting ‘Santa & Shiraz’- a relaxed family day out in McLaren Vale full of Christmas spirit and Festive fun.
Kicking off from 2-6pm on their expansive Cellar Door lawns, guests are invited to grab a vino and settle beneath the gumtrees as they greeted with some tunes from Adelaide-based Jazz Duo, Fergus Maximus.
Don’t worry, they have hinted at throwing in a few Christmas classics! Not enough? Guests can also expect some Christmas carols from local Acappella Group, The Onkaparinga Harmony Chorus.
Of course, their iconic wine bar The MollyVan will be fully stocked and pouring all of the Mollydooker favourites from their refreshing Merlot Rose, to their most well-known wine The Boxer Shiraz.
To accompany, guests will be able to grab some American BBQ inspired comfort food from Smokin’ It Up. With a drool-worthy menu full of burgers and smoked meats, guests are truly in for a treat particularly with their festive themed red Rudolph burger.
For the little ones there will be lots of lawn games plus a very special visit from Santa, the perfect opportunity for parents to capture the annual Santa photos.

“Between our fantastic wines the Christmas themed entertainment and the visit from Santa, it was important to us to be able to create a fun festive event suitable for everyone. It’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere.”
Santa & Shiraz has is has in fact been aligned to coincide with the local McLaren Vale Christmas Parade, which kicks off on Field Street at 6pm.
As part of their Sip It Forward Charity program, Mollydooker are using the occasion to highlight the gift of giving this Festive season by encouraging guests to bring along a wrapped gift to go under the Mollydooker Gift Giving Tree. All presents will be donated directly to disadvantaged children.
