All of these are potential names for Monarto Safari Park’s absolutely adorable baby chimpanzee, selected by the Primate Team at Monarto Safari Park.
The choice is now in the hands of the public.
“The arrival of a new infant is always exciting,” says Senior Keeper Laura Hanley. “This is Zombi’s third infant and it is beautiful to watch the family interactions that are taking place. Finding the right name for the chimp will be the icing on the cake. We hope that the public read our descriptions and decide on the name that is most fitting.”
Born on 8 September 2019, the infant chimp has since captured the hearts of keepers, members and visitors, as well as viewers across the globe, after footage of her receiving kisses went viral.

All entries will go into a draw to win a family pass to Monarto Safari Park to see the little chimp and her troop. The closing date for entries is Sunday 24 November.
