Monopoly release limited edition board to raise funds for Aus communities

Monopoly has launched the limited edition ‘Australian Community Relief’ board to honour regional Aussie communities that have been impacted by the bushfires, floods and COVID-19.

Monopoly, everybody’s favourite family board game, has created an Australian limited edition version to raise funds for local communities.

22 communities from across the nation are featured in the custom Australian Community Relief Monopoly game board created to unite Australians.

The goal of the new board game is to raise much-needed funds for local communities who were impacted by various disasters in 2020, including bushfires, floods and COVID-19.

The new edition has locally themed squares that replaced Mayfair and Park Lane from the original Monopoly board.

The game also includes a customised ‘Community Chest’ and ‘Chance’ playing cards, making the entire game a truly Australian experience.

The game has also been created to highlight the community spirit and strength of these stunning locations.

The board showcases regions that were severely impacted in 2020, included on the Australian Community Relief Monopoly Board are:

  • SA – Coober Pedy, Mount Gambier, Port Augusta
  • ACT – Belconnen and Queanbeyan
  • NSW – Batemans Bay, Broken Hill, Blue Mountains
