Moon Lantern Parade Returns To Adelaide

OzAsia Festival 2019 presents the Moon Lantern Festival, an event for the whole family.

As part of the magnificent OzAsia Festival 2019, the Moon Lantern Parade will also be making a comeback!

While the parade itself starts later in the evening, there will be plenty of local acts from 3pm, keeping the whole family entertained while you wait.

During the day, popular community acts will be performing across three stages. There will also be craft activities and artist workshops for everyone to get involved with!

This is all just the lead up for the main event, which is the biggest lantern parade in Australia. There are over 50 giant lanterns lighting up the night, plus the gigantic 40-metre long Hong Kong Dragon.

All of the lanterns will be set to a live music performance by Australian-Chinese music collective Emissary of Tang.

Festival goers are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and nibbles so they can settle in and enjoy the festivities. However, there will be delicious food trucks with cuisines from all over the world as well.

There are a lot of other events during the OzAsia Festival that are also worth attending. Check out the full program here.

Plus, the Lucky Dumpling Market is also returning from 17 October to 3 November!
