Moonlight Cinema Kicks Off This Week

The phenomenal December/January program is jam-packed with acclaimed summer blockbusters, cosy Christmas flicks, fan favourites, and hotly anticipated family-friendly films.

Moonlight Cinema opens this week, bringing with it another blockbuster summer of entertainment under the stars. Returning to picturesque parklands in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, film-fanatics across the country can recline on a plush bean bed under the stars or unfurl a picnic blanket and unwind amidst the lively festival atmosphere.

The phenomenal December/January program is jam-packed with acclaimed summer blockbusters, cosy Christmas flicks, fan favourites, and hotly anticipated family-friendly films.

The huge program includes screenings of  Christmas flicks; Last Christmas, Love Actually, Elf, Fan favourites; Dirty Dancing, A Star Is Born and The Matrix, top picks for Awards season; JokerFord v Ferrari, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Bombshell, and a host ofFamily-friendly films; Frozen 2, Jumanji: The Next Level andThe Addams Family.

CHRISTMAS FLICKS

Savour the silly season with Moonlight’s sensational selection of Christmas flicks: from quirky rom-com Last Christmas, starring Emilia Clarke as a disillusioned department store worker who unwittingly falls head over heels for the unlikeliest of suitors; to quintessential Christmas classic Home Alone; and Bruce Willis’ festive 80s action blockbuster Die Hard.

Moonlight’s fan favourite program will also screen two of the biggest Christmas blockbusters ever, Love Actually and Elf.

Moonlight’s fan favourites are back, voted for by popular demand! Catch the iconic date night flick Dirty Dancing, megahit musical The Greatest Showman and 20th year anniversary screenings of mind-bending classic The Matrix.

FAMILY FILMS

Celebrate under the stars with the whole family at one of Moonlight’s hotly anticipated kid friendly films including: Frozen 2 which sees the beloved original cast reunite on an intrepid journey to find the origin of Elsa’s powers and save their kingdom; Jumanji: The Next Level, chronicling the gang’s return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own and escape the world’s most dangerous game; and relive the magic of The Lion King while the sun sets around you.

MUST-SEE FILMS OF THE SUMMER
