For the second year running, Pink Diamond Race Day will paint Morphettville Racecourse pink Saturday 26 November, all in the name of a good cause.

Racegoers have the chance to win a pair of white gold and titanium commitment rings valued at $4,000.00; courtesy of celebrated jeweller Pure Envy.

Modelled on the day by the Face of the Spring Racing Carnival, Jamie Lee, the stunning commitment rings will be raffled with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.

Pure Envy Designer Jeweller – Scott Anthony said he is proud to support the McGrath Foundation and be involved in such a special day at Morphettville Racecourse.

“We saw this as a fantastic opportunity to help provide much needed funds to a very worthy cause,” says Scott.

“Our pieces are one of a kind. Each item of jewellery is designed to express the individuality in every one of us, and the commitment rings are testament to that.”

The South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) has once again scheduled Pink Diamond Race Day to align with the 2011 Feast Festival.

With all the glitz and glamour, Morphettville Racecourse is set to sparkle with hostesses Rochelle and Vonni leading punters through a camp day of racing, auctions, raffles, and live entertainment in the Tapestry Pavilion.

SAJC’s Chief Executive Officer, Brenton Wilkinson, was thrilled with the response last year and looks forward to what lies ahead for this year’s Pink Diamond Race Day.

“Pink Diamond Race Day is a fun, flamboyant, frivolous day of racing and entertainment, and the SAJC welcomes Feast festival-goers to one of Morphettville’s newest race days.”

In honour of the McGrath Foundation one jockey in each race will also be sporting custom designed pink silks on the day.

Pink Diamond Race Day commences at 12noon on Saturday 26 November. Tickets for the Tapestry Pavilion cost $125.00; including a two course lunch, afternoon tea, a five hour beverage package, entrance to the course, private betting facilities, and guest MCs Rochelle and Vonni. This great package can be booked directly with the SAJC on 8295 0180, with other hospitality options also available by calling 8295 0199.
