Adelaide will host the Mother’s Day Classic this May 14th in a show of solidarity as thousands of women and families prepare to walk all over breast cancer.

Adelaide’s Peace Park will once again host the morning Classic from 6.30am with participants setting foot along the Torrens Linear Park Route and through the picturesque Botanic Gardens before winding back along War Memorial Drive toward the finish line. Participants can choose to walk or run with a 4.6km or 7.3km option.

The Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s largest breast cancer research fundraiser.
In 2017 the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic celebrates its 20th consecutive year. In that time more than 1.1 million Australians have walked and run their way to raising more the $30 million for breast cancer research.

Fundraising efforts are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fund research that aims to stop deaths from breast cancer by improving the detection, treatment and outcomes for those affected by the disease.

One in eight Australian women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women in Australia. Come and join in on the run to support breast cancer research.The Mother’s Day Classic will be held in more than 100 locations, from capital cities to remote towns, all around Australia.
