Mount Lofty & Wittunga Botanic Gardens reopen today!

Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens will be open from today, Saturday 21 November 2020.

As part of the easing of restrictions this weekend (yasssssss!), Adelaide, Mount Lofty and Wittunga Botanic Gardens will be open from today, Saturday 21 November 2020.

People can also exercise in their gardens in accordance with the State Coordinator’s directions from today.

A full service will resume at the gardens on Monday, noting there will still be restrictions on patron numbers in hospitality venues.

Research suggests getting out into nature works wonders for our physical and mental wellbeing. The botanic gardens estates are wonderful place where we can connect with plants and our natural environment, and we’ve never appreciated it as much as we do now!

Please note no food and drink will be available until Monday 23 November in Adelaide Botanic Garden, and the Bracegirdle’s refreshment bus will return to Mount Lofty Botanic Garden on Saturday 28 November. With the warm weather you are encouraged to bring your water bottle with you.

When visiting, please be sure to adhere to the up-to-date Directions which are available at https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au. Please also ensure you maintain social distancing (1 person per 4 square meters) and stay home if you are at all unwell.
