Vegan businesses Nuttea and Nagev have joined forces to bring mouthwatering dessert creations to Fringe goers.
Starting on March 4, the two businesses are sharing an exclusive dessert menu with visitors at the Nuttea North Terrace location.
Visitors can find the decadent desserts on Friday and Saturday nights until the end of the Fringe.
However, visitors may be able to enjoy the treats after the Fringe, if popularity grows.
Wai Yin Wong, co-owner of Nuttea, started conversations with owners of Nagev, Jorge Nava and Beatriz Velasquez during the Vegan Festival in 2021.
“Ideas about a collaboration between our two businesses started during the Vegan Festival 2021 as we shared our passion for food,” he says.
“Around Adelaide you don’t find many vegan dessert locations so we’re hoping to bring a little excitement to the vegan dessert scene.”
Jorge Nava, owner of Nagev liked the idea of collaborating with another local Adelaide based business and is excited at the opportunity to bring desserts to fringe goers.
“The fringe is a stepping stone for our collaborations. We plan on spreading the message that vegan food and drinks can be amazing and delicious,” he says.
“We have plans to continue collaborating to provide a full package of services for events in the future.”
“We created these desserts to play with popular flavour combinations that we know people will love, like Biscoff.”
“Our aim was to create delicious, healthy vegan desserts. On top of that we cater for gluten free diets and most of our desserts are refined sugar free.”
The popularity of vegan products has grown across Adelaide as these businesses continue to cater for a variety of dietary requirements, bringing excitement to the pallets of Adelaidians.
No bookings are required to enjoy these tasty morsels and they are available from 6pm-9pm Friday and Saturday nights until sold out.
