Are you feeling uninspired after looking at the same old shelves behind your favourite bars? Getting bored of ordering the same old drinks? We have great news for you!

Are you feeling uninspired after looking at the same old shelves behind your favourite bars? Getting bored of ordering the same old drinks? We have great news for you! It’s out with those old and familiar labels and in with the new and locally produced. Australian bar shelves are expanding to include a variety of specialty and craft liqueurs and liquors – yes, there’s a difference – and we’re super excited about what bartenders are doing with them!

Say it with me– what do we want? Fun cocktails! When do we want them? Now! And new kid on the block, Marionette Liqueur, is only too happy to provide a fresh, unique twist to your average cocktail.

As a new label, Marionette Liqueur certainly has their work cut out for them, but they’re taking it all in their stride as they aim to produce twenty cocktail staple liqueurs over the next three years. And if their current offerings are anything to go by, it’s a goal they’ll achieve with flying colours.

Their drinks are sure to appeal to anyone with a sweet tooth and even those who appreciate a more artisian flair. The geniuses behind Marionette Liqueur believe that liqueur deserves more of a limelight than it has and strives to celebrate the natural flavours from the Australian fruit used to distill their products, from blackcurrants grown in Tasmania to oranges sourced directly from a third generation citrus farmer in Mildura.

Marionette Liqueur also boasts a recently launched orange Curacao which, as mentioned, features citrus from the Riverland and South Australian Brandy. They expect to launch an apricot brandy on the tail of this success. We can’t wait to see what else they’ll come up with!

If you want to stay in the loop and find out where they’ll be in Adelaide, be sure to follow Marionette Liqueur on on Facebook or Instagram– just make sure you have a sneaky bevvy in hand, ’cause their gorgeous liqueurs are sure to have your mouth watering.
