Adelaide’s dessert scene is set to become even sweeter as Mr.Cheese expands to two new locations in Adelaide: Norwood and Kilbrun. Known for its delicious Japanese cheesecakes, egg tarts, cream puffs, and celebration cakes, Mr.Cheese has been impressing Adelaide dessert lovers since November 2017.
Mr.Cheese introduced the city to its signature Japanese cheesecakes, which quickly took off around the state.
Over the years, Mr.Cheese has evolved into a go-to destination for Japanese and creative desserts in South Australia, and has since opened four stores with more in the pipeline.
What began with Japanese cheesecakes has blossomed into a treasure trove of delightful treats, including best-selling egg tarts, cream puffs, tea cakes, deluxe birthday cakes, and decadent New York-style cheesecakes.
Mr.Cheese’s popularity is evident, with an impressive 500 cakes sold per day, meaning 182,500 cakes made per year.
Now, with the opening of two new locations in Kilburn and Norwood, Mr.Cheese will have a total of six stores across Adelaide, adding to its existing presence in Hindley Street (since November 2017), Burnside Village (since November 2020), Adelaide Central Market (since July 2022), and Port Adelaide Plaza (since March 2023).
The first new store will be opening at the end of this month in the Churchill Shopping Centre filling the missing gap in Adelaide’s inner north, and then the second next month in the new Norwood Mall which has only just opened this year as a part of a multi-million-dollar development.
The soft opening dates for the new locations are as follows: Churchill Shopping Centre on Monday, October 30th, and Norwood Mall on Monday, November 13th. The opening events with special offers are scheduled for the weekends following the soft opening days.

The expansion of Mr.Cheese will make finding a special dessert for a special occasion easier, as it continues to add stores across South Australia.
