Moving from their beloved but increasingly limiting barber and coffeeshop at the corner of Waymouth and King William street, Mr Combs has packed up his bags and for his new home.

Now residing a mere 200 metres away, Mr Combs’ new shop is an architectural knockout.

From the outside, Mr Combs is a beautiful change to the range of brick exteriors with its floor-to-ceiling windows that clearly showcase the stunning interior.

You’ll find outdoor seating scattered by the entrance for those traipsing for a pre-cut coffee, or even just a coffee by itself.

It’s inside that Mr Combs really comes alive.

Edna Nagi’s design marries earthy tones with contemporary furniture. You can wait for your appointment on a plush-cushioned wood bench, with floating coffee tables emerging from its frame.

The open-plan layout merges the coffee shop and salon seamlessly, enabling you to chat freely with the friendly barista/barbers.

Barista/Barber Fabian Esposito says that the new location is an exciting addition for Waymouth Street.

“The site gives us more opportunities, and we are more dominant on the corner here. It’s a much better space,” he says.

Opening at 7am each weekday, the Waymouth street salon gives you the perfect chance to tidy up your hair and grab your caffeine hit all before you start work.

You can find Mr Combs at 80 Waymouth Street, Adelaide.
