Marnie Roberts of Matriach Rogue and Kerri Thompson from Wines by KTA are women who share two common loves; their family and their wine. With a combination of their love and talents, they are bringing a special evening event to the Clare Valley SCA Gourmet Week.
A Twilight Tasting with MR and KT, Wines from the Soul is a tasting event that highlights the heart of the Clare Valley. From classic styles of wine to emerging varieties, this twilight event is set to be an intimate experience.
Catered by Executive Chef, Ranjit Singh of Indii of Clare, there will be no shortage of vibrant flavours.
A Twilight Tasting: Wines From The Soul is just one of the many experiences on offer at the Clare Valley Wine, Food and Tourism Centre throughout The 2023 Clare Valley SCA Gourmet Week program.
If you are thinking about heading to the festival, this mid-week event is one to add to your must-experience calendar. Held at twilight on Tuesday the 23rd of May, there is nothing quite like watching the sunset with a glass of wine and incredible food.
With more than 80 events across 10 days, there is no shortage of events to suit every taste.
“Now in its 39th year, this event heroes the local operators and wine brands, who throw open their doors to welcome visitors to indulge in all things Clare Valley,” says The Hon Martin Ferguson AM Chairman of Clare Valley Wine & Grape Association.
Local wineries are teaming up with esteemed Chefs across the region in order to bring together experiences that are set to be a feast for the senses. The smells, the tastes and of course, the sight of the stunning backdrop of the Clare Valley.
Event organiser Belinda Heinrich of the Clare Valley Wine & Grape Association says “The calibre of talent preparing food this year is unprecedented. Paired with some of the very best wine in the world, the week is set to be a genuine delight for the senses.”
Every event is to bring something different with MR & KT’s Wines From the Soul will be one of the two Twilight Tastings events. As part of the “Breathe It In” block of the Festival, which focuses on slowing down and taking time to really appreciate the wine, food and landscape.
