This seasonal Adelaide Hills ‘village celebration’ is on the 4th Sunday of every month coinciding with the Stirling Market. As we enter into the colder months, Stirling Laneways invites people to BYO ‘MUG ‘n’ a RUG’!

The WINTER-WARMER edition…
Come and warm up where it’s properly cold – in the streets of Stirling!
Wear your wellies, wrap yourself in a poncho or a blanket, and bring your favourite mug! Come and taste seasonal market produce and explore the diverse pop-up stalls.
There will be rugs to sit on, braziers to warm your fingers by, and songs to ‘warm your bones’ on this unique day out in the Adelaide Hills.
You might even wish to bring your knitting! We recommend pulling up a seat within earshot of the street performers, and close to a ‘Mug Trail Hotspot’!
There will be plenty of things to fill up your mug. Local restaurants and cafes are offering ‘Mug Specials’ at ‘Mug Trail Hotspots’…
• Rich hot chocolate at Red Cacao
• Scrumptious organic soups at Ruby’s Organic Cafe
• Spiced chilli con carne (with a spoon) at Tranquilo
• Fragrant mulled wine at Locavore
• Delicious varieties of soup at Kondi Cafe, The Organic Market & Cafe and Stirling Coffee House
• Whisky ‘Hot Toddies’ and Hot Cocktails to warm up grown-ups will be found at Miss Perez and the Stirling Hotel
…or if none of this is your ‘cup of tea’, there’s plenty more on offer!
Visitors and locals are encouraged to ‘follow their feet’ and discover some of Adelaide’s finest singers and song-writers hiding in little warm pockets along the laneways. Performers include teetotallin’ cowgirl Miss Patsy DeCline, and local star Loren Kate (who recently performed at WOMADelaide).
The Organic Market and Café and Red Cacao will be providing blankets to their customers who wish to sit outside and soak up the Stirling Laneways atmosphere, sights and sounds!
