Adelaide’s Saturday X Lotto winning streak has continued, with a Munno Para man becoming the latest local to pocket a life-changing division one prize.
For the third weekend in a row, an Adelaide player landed a Saturday X Lotto division one win, with the northern suburbs man taking home $2.5 million from Saturday X Lotto draw 4675 on Saturday 9 May 2026.
The happy South Australian held one of eight division one winning entries nationally, each worth $2.5 million.
When contacted by an official from The Lott, the newly minted multi-millionaire said he was still trying to process the size of the win.
“On man! I’m in shock!” he laughed.
“Normally on a Sunday morning, I sit down to check my ticket and see if I’ve had a win.
“This time, I said to my wife, ‘come and check this, please’. I showed her the numbers on my phone, and I showed her the ticket… she was flabbergasted as well!
“I normally play a ticket with my own numbers, but because it was a $20 Million Superdraw on the weekend, I picked up an extra ticket – a QuickPick. It must have been meant to be as I actually won on the QuickPick ticket I got on a whim.
“I am over the moon!
“This does a lot of things for my family. But currently I’m in a state where it just feels a little overwhelming, so I’m just going to let it ride for the moment before making any decisions.”
The winning 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Munno Para Newsagency, located at Shops 17 to 19, Munno Para Shopping Centre, 600 Main North Road, Smithfield.
While one Adelaide winner has now been united with their prize, another major Saturday X Lotto win is still waiting to be claimed.
More than a week after the numbers were drawn, lottery officials are still hoping to hear from the mystery Adelaide player who scored $2.1 million in Saturday X Lotto draw 4673 on Saturday 2 May 2026.
That winning entry was purchased at The Avenues Newsagency & Stationery, Shop 4/114 Payneham Road, Stepney.
Because the ticket was not registered to a player card or online account through The Lott Members Club, lottery officials have not been able to contact the winner directly. Instead, they are waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and start the prize claim process.
Anyone who believes they may be holding the winning entry is encouraged to contact The Lott on 131 868.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4675 on Saturday 9 May 2026 were 12, 11, 2, 33, 37 and 17, while the supplementary numbers were 36 and 41.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in the draw, with three in Queensland, two in New South Wales, and one each in Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
