The next three stages of the Munno Para Retail Hub development will introduce a range of diverse offerings, catering to the varied needs and preferences of the local community. Already there is BCF, Sydney Tools, Petbarn, Zambrero, Lone Star Rib House & Burgertec and there’s a A gym, cafe and mechanic set to join the pack.

The new additions to come include RSEA Safety, a workwear, and safety equipment outlet, a state-of-the-art Ryderwear gym, Jax Tyre and Auto, and First Things First Coffee.

“Following the acquisition of the 2.74-hectare site from the City of Playford, the development has been advancing smoothly. Stage 1 was successfully delivered in 2023, and Stage 2 is presently under construction, scheduled for completion in January 2024, with RSEA slated to open in February 2024,” a spokesperson from Layton Property, the developer behind Munno Para Retail Hub, told Glam Adelaide.

Concurrently, Stage 3 is in the construction phase (being developed by Bella Build & Design), with the opening of a Ryderwear gym in mid-2024.

Looking ahead, Stage 4 is in the planning stages, set to include a JAX Tyres & Auto mechanic workshop, a First Things First Coffee drive-thru, a fast-food outlet, and a food and beverage venue. Anticipated planning approval is expected in early 2024, followed by construction commencement soon after, with a projected completion date prior to the end of 2024.

Highlighting the importance of this development for the northern region of Adelaide, Leyton Property said that it’s an important development for the area as the site remained vacant for en extended period.

“The development has addressed the existing gaps in retail and services to meet the diverse needs of the local community [as well]. Beyond breathing new life into the area, the project’s substantial capital investment and the creation of numerous jobs during construction and retail phases significantly contribute to the local economy,” they said.

With a projected capital investment exceeding $30 million over its entire duration, the stage one of the project has already has generated over 300 direct construction jobs and more than 150 retail jobs.

“The incorporation of a safety store, gym, coffee place, and a tyre service into this development/site is strategically designed to enhance its overall appeal and community impact,” the spokesperson said.
