This June long weekend, Coastal Sounds is returning with their popular free music and arts event, and this year it is bigger than ever. Partnering with the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the City of Charles Sturt, this year’s Coastal Sounds is spanning 13km of the coast from West Beach to Semaphore.

With 11 unique locations, guests can explore the eclectic mix of music, art and dance events. Local businesses along will be involved, so make sure you stop by to see what’s on offer.

Coastal Sounds runs through the picturesque West Beach, Henley, Grange and Semaphore, and has everything from African dance workshops, to breakdance battles and chalk art. The event will run from 11:00am to 5:00pm on Monday the 10th, making it the perfect, family-friendly way to spend the extra day off. Plus there’s no expense to get involved in any of the performances or activities!

The winter music and arts event is as eclectic as it is long-distance. The diverse program of music styles and art showings celebrates artists of all ages. With no stages or speakers, each acts ranging from new and emerging, to established artists, each willing to share their music and passions with the coast as their backdrop.

The unique music event is supported by the City of Charles Sturt’s Live and Local grants program and invites people to enjoy the beach in winter with an afternoon of intimate performances.
