A new bar is coming soon to North Adelaide, and it might look familiar!
Mylk Bar is coming to Tynte Street in late August or early September, following the success of their Flinders Street venue.
The venue is known for their wide array of food and drinks––ranging from wine to milkshakes. The new venue will have much of the same menu as its original spot but with a few edits, focusing mainly on healthier options, such as zucchini fritters, Mylk classic burgers, bowls, and wraps.
For drinks, they have “milkshakes” in flavors ranging from caramel to lime, smoothies, coffees and teas, and of course wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails! The liquor licence in the North Adelaide eatery and bar is expected soon.
The Tynte Street spot is described as a “baby version” of the Flinders Street location by owner Amin Ayoubi, but the new venue will also have some food additions, such as a cake and sandwich display fridge so you can purchase takeaway bites straight from the counter.
The venue will have ample outdoor seating, and decor consistent with Flinders Street. There will be a chalk board, high bench seating, and metal chairs, all perfect for a delicatessen-style venue.
“Mylk Bar’s homage to a bygone era extends beyond the rustic décor and venue fit out,” they say.
In addition to a fun fit out and a great menu of shakes, drinks, and eats, Mylk Bar also prides itself on its entertainment.
“At night, Mylk Bar comes alive again, transforming into a… venue that offers soulful food and cool live jazz,” they say.
