National Assistance Program For The Arts Providing Grants For Struggling Artists

The program will distribute one time $1,000 grants to 1,400 successful applicants based on need, experience, and talent.

Calling all musos, artists, film-makers — anyone and everyone in the arts. As one of the hardest hit sectors during COVID-19, we have some great news for you: a group of amazing arts and culture philanthropists have come together to provide an amazing $1.5m support program.

Philanthropy Australia’s Arts Funders Network is coordinating the distribution of funds into the Australian arts sector, via Creative Partnerships Australia and the Australian Cultural Fund in the form of a National Assistance Program for the Arts.

The program will distribute one time $1,000 grants to 1,400 successful applicants based on need, experience, and talent as assessed by the alumni of the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship.

If you’re keen, get your skates on, as the applications close at midnight AEST on Sunday 10th May.  Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in the week beginning 11 May 2020.

Applications can be made via myerfoundation.smartygrants.com.au/NAPA20.
