Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced the National Cabinet will meet next Friday to discuss relaxing Australia’s COVID-19 restrictions.
According to the Prime Minister, Australians have earned an “early mark” as a result of the effort that has been made thus far.
Morrison stated that Australia has now met 11 of the 15 conditions declared necessary before restrictions are lifted.
The importance of downloading the COVIDSafe app was reiterated by the Prime Minister, with “millions” more downloads needed.
The National Cabinet will meet twice over the course of the next week to ensure details are effectively worked through.
