National fitness franchise announce first SA studio

The Listen To Your Body (LTYB) franchise has announced they are launching their 17th Australian studio, in Marden, Adelaide.

The Listen To Your Body (LTYB) franchise has announced they are launching their 17th Australian studio, in Marden, Adelaide.

Aiming for a studio opening in June this year, the brand is excited to expand their offering to the South Australian market.

This will be LTYB’s fourth state in Australia, with plans to establish themselves as a nationally recognised fitness brand.

While visiting Melbourne, Marden Franchise owner James Capurso discovered his love for LTYB studios and decided to leave his corporate job to open his own LTYB studio.

“LTYB is a unique brand offering that combines a group training environment with a personal trainer where each member is individually trained to their fitness level and abilities, which I feel hits a gap in the fitness market; Especially in Adelaide,“ said Capurso.

“Through spending time at the Melbourne studios and speaking to members, owners and trainers, I could feel and see the positive effect LTYB was having among the LTYB community – both mentally and physically,”

“I’m excited to introduce the people of Adelaide to a gym where people can feel welcome and excited to become a part of the community.”

This is a big career change for Capurso, spending the last four years in a corporate setting as an accountant after graduating his Commerce degree with Honours.

Capurso said his Accounting career has given him tremendous insight into the backend of a business and ability to understand profitability benchmarks which he will apply to his LTYB studio.

“LTYB’s Franchise business model has encouraged me to invest in my future and launch my very first business within the fitness industry,” said Capurso.

“The LTYB offering is like no other when it comes to health and fitness, and I’m excited to incorporate the skills that I have gained throughout my corporate background experience into driving growth with LTYB Adelaide.”

“My overall objective is to provide people with a safe, happy and healthy environment through health and fitness.”

CEO & Founder Ben Fletcher said this is an example of LTYB’s inclusive business model providing opportunities for both Franchisees and members from all different fitness backgrounds.

“James’ Accounting background combined with his strong interest in Fitness and Business makes him a great candidate to excel with his LTYB studio launch,” said Fletcher.

“We are super excited to have James launch the brand into the Adelaide market; James has been fantastic to deal with through the Franchise Recruitment process, demonstrating key traits equivalent to the highest LTYB performers.”

“This is an excellent example of a successful, well-proven business franchise model that allows people with a variety of fitness experiences to succeed as LTYB Franchisees,”

“Our LTYB support team is equipped to provide our Franchisees and investors with every opportunity to launch a successful business and achieve their goals, regardless of their prior business experience.”

Listen To Your Body Marden is expected to begin taking membership applications in June this year.
