Adelaide’s prized design market, Bowerbird Design Market, is back 24 – 26 November 2017, bringing together an exciting line up of over 170 stallholders for their largest event yet.
Now settled in their nest in the Wayville pavilion at the Adelaide Showground, this season’s market includes
a curated mix of over 40 designers new to Bowerbird, plus Spring/Summer collections from regular
favourites.
Bowerbird Director, Jane Barwick, says all stallholders are chosen for their high quality, variety and
seasonality, with an emphasis on contemporary, hand-crafted work.
“We’ve curated a mix of emerging and established, local and interstate, first timers and previous favourites,
and I love the richness and opportunities this brings,” says Jane.
“You just never know what treasures you will find.”
A strong South Australian contingent is complemented by enthusiastic interstaters to bring you premium
Spring/Summer collections across fashion, homewares, lifestyle, jewellery, furniture, artworks, beauty and
stationery.
South Australia’s Little Parks children’s accessories, Sydney’s CatKe Design handcrafted jewellery and
Artomobile bespoke art pieces, and Tasmania’s Sustomi eco-friendly food wraps are amongst the 40 new
designers who will take part.

Many regular favourites will also be back, such as South Australia’s Border Co handcrafted homewares,
Victoria’s Little Veggie Patch Co heirloom seeds and Queensland’s Nylund handcrafted leather goods.
With delicious, local, artisan-made food, craft beverages, cool tunes and creative workshops, there truly is
something for everyone.
“Bowerbird is a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy great shopping, workshops, music and
delicious meals,” says Jane.
“It’s a warm event that provides an opportunity to support Australian designers, and a one-stop-shop for
beautiful Christmas gifts.”
Held twice a year, the November event is the perfect opportunity to meet the makers, do all your Christmas
