Need Something To Do After The Pageant? Why Not Build-A-Bear?

Morphettville Racecourse are hosting a family fun day after the pageant, where kids can create their very own cuddly friend to take home!

After the Pageant passes through the city this weekend, it’s probably the case that the kids will want to stick around and go to the long held tradition of The Magic Cave to meet whoever the bloke in the suit is…

Well, simply put, stuff that this year.

Bypass the long Magic Cave queues keep the pageant day festivities going into the afternoon by
jumping on the tram and heading to Morphettville for their Family Day on Saturday, 12 November.
The inaugural Family Day is just as it sounds, focusing entirely on the kids and promising to be a great
day out for all.

There will be special appearances by Adelaide Strikers and Adelaide United players alongside a host of activities, and entertainment. But what really takes the cake, and what we’re most excited about it the special pop up Build-A-Bear workshop on the day.

Basically, children can create their very own personalised cuddly friend to cherish forever. What’s more, the first 140 children through the gate will have the chance to build their new friend for free.

Kids brimming with post-pageant energy can get active with Kelly Sports and Specky Events or channel
their inner race car driver with Wheelie Kids. So you don’t have to tire them about, they’ll do it for you.

For the budding fashionistas, there will be a very special kids-only ‘Fashions on the Field’ parade with
great prizes from Build-A-Bear. Girls and boys are encouraged to get dressed up in their best trackside
outfits and strut their stuff centre stage to show that Fashions on Field isn’t just for the big kids.

If fashion and sport doesn’t tick the box for your little one, CirKidz and Miss Fairy will also be putting
on shows to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
