‘Netflix for dogs’ DOGTV is on the hunt for Australia’s cutest canines

Streaming service DOGTV provides engaging programs to prevent anxiety in lonely dogs and is looking for its next four-legged Australian star.

Camera roll chock full of cute puppy pics? If you think your talented tail-wagger is destined for a bigger stage than just the local dog park, US streaming service DOGTV is hosting an online casting call for Australia’s cutest canines to star in its puppy-friendly programming.

You can finally put your plethora of pet content to use by submitting a photo or video of your furry offspring to PETstock’s Instagram or Facebook by June 3rd.

Having launched in Australia in April 2021, DOGTV provides a much-needed service to keep our four-legged friends entertained while they have the house to themselves, providing dog-friendly visual and audio stimulation that encourage calm behaviour and helps to prevent pups becoming bored, anxious or lonely whilst home alone. The puppy programming schedule has been based on over 60 scientific studies which mirror your dog’s daily activity cycle, streaming timely content that matches the dog’s excitement level throughout the day.

DOGTV’s streaming services can help calm any canines suffering with separation anxiety, which is particularly relevant for the huge number of dogs purchased while many were working from home last year, with some pooches struggling to cope with long hours in an empty house now their paw-rents are back in the office.

With 40% of Australian homes now having a dog, keeping your pup entertained with relaxing entertainment not only keeps them stimulated and stress-free throughout the day, but leaves owners with peace of mind throughout the day that their pooches are happy at home.

For the chance to make your pet a DOGTV star, enter via the PETstock Instagram or Facebook pages.

Monthly and annual subscriptions to DOGTV are available to purchase at the PETstock website.
