Never Never Distilling Co. has turned two and to celebrate they are throwing a party of epic proportions.
Next Sunday, 22 of September, Never Never is taking over Cry Baby with a Viking themed Aquavit party, complete with a Low & Slow Valhalla Feasting Hall.
“We like to focus on something that we released that year,” says Baxter. “Last year the party was all about the Juniper Freak Gin with our Dark Party, this year the theme is Aquavit and it’s going to be Viking themed.”
Guests will receive an authentic drinking horn with their first cocktail purchase, which will also secure you a plate at the Valhalla feasting table. Dine on the fine fare from the Low & Slow team who will be setting up their famous smoker in the back laneway at Cry Baby.
Guests can also expect cocktails featuring not only the Australian Aquavit but the gin range and Fancy Fruit Cup. This will include PS40’s Outback Viking and Never Never’s famous Negroze cocktail.
The best dressed Viking will win a case of Never Never’s entire spirit, so make sure to plait the beard, sharpen the axe and dress Norse (no real weapons please, they don’t want any injuries).
As always, entry to Cry Baby is free, however if you would like to take part in the Valhalla Feasting Hall, the drinking horn, cocktail and plate is $35.
This event caps off an incredible year for the Never Never team taking out World’s Best Classic Gin in February, Double Gold Medals in the San Francisco and Singapore World Spirit Awards and a recent Masters Award at the Gin Masters Asia (the only Master award handed out during the competition).
