The sun is finally shining so what better way to soak it up than at a spritz party featuring some of Australia’s best gin and bartending talent?
On the first Sunday of October, the Never Never Distilling Co. is teaming up with Regal Rogue vermouth to kick off the sunny season with the search for Australia’s best summer spritz cocktail.
Enter the Ginache Bash: Never Never’s first festival to celebrate their Grenache flavoured gin. And there’s a catch. They need your help to judge what the winning cocktail is.
What a chore.

“The nights are getting longer and the warm summer months are finally around the corner,” says Never Never Brand Director Sean Baxter. “We wanted to throw a party that decides who makes the most crowd-pleasing spritz cocktail around Australia,” he laughs.
You see, the Ginache Bash is more than a party. It’s a battleground where the crème de la crème of Australia’s bartenders will show off their skills. Handpicked from a pool of nearly a hundred talents nationwide, the final three are ready to shake, stir, and pour their way to victory in the ‘Step Into the Never Never’ competition.
Oh. And did we mention there was gelato? Bottega Gelateria will be slinging their exclusive Ginache Swirl Gelato all day, with one included in your ticket. What a scoop!

‘The unique natural style of Regal Rogue is perfectly suited to the fresh approach of Never Never,” says Regal Rouge Founder Mark Ward, “it’s quite close to being the perfect Spritz marriage.”
There will be an open pantry of incredible garnishes to select with each drink being meticulously prepared and zhooshed for the big occasion. The challenge is to create a crowd-pleasing concoction that wins the hearts and minds of the punters in attendance with their drink composition and garnish selections.
“Make it fun, make it outrageous, but most of all make it delicious!” says Baxter.
“We did this earlier in the year with a gin and tonic festival and tickets went in record time,” says Sean. “We’re certainly anticipating something very similar given how good the value is, we need an audience to be our judges,” he exclaims.
There are extremely limited spaces due to licensing requirements at the venue so it is imperative to book your place in order to secure your space.
Never Never’s last lawn party booked out in record time, so get in now. This isn’t one you want to miss.
