As part of the current upgrade to Adelaide Festival Plaza, construction work is underway on the fit-out of the new northern entrance to the Adelaide Railway Station that links the station concourse to the Adelaide Riverbank entertainment precinct.
During the period of construction, the northern entrance to the Adelaide Railway Station will be temporarily closed between April and December 2020.
At completion, the new northern entrance will include a grand arcade featuring a spectacular vaulted ceiling, new retail tenancies, a new entry to the Dunstan Playhouse and a major public artwork.
All other station entrances will remain open, including the station ramp and the main station entrance, both accessible via North Terrace — pedestrian access between the Riverbank and the main station entrance will be via the eastern side of the Intercontinental Adelaide and via King William Road.
