NEW authentic Vietnamese eatery Miss Pho hits Adelaide’s east

The Parade’s latest Vietnamese eatery Miss Pho is offering you an authentic Southeast Asian experience, with Banh Mi, dumpling soup and Vietnamese coffee!

Since November 2021, Miss Pho has been the new kid on Norwood Parade, delivering South Aussies a true and authentic Vietnamese lunch and dinner dining experience.

The restaurant came about when owner Xuan Tran and their family, who migrated to Australia in the late 1990s, were inspired by their grandparents who spoilt them with delicious traditional Vietnamese foods.

As you walk in for a lunch experience, your senses will be engulfed with the smell of freshly cooked crackling pork that they prepare on the premises almost daily.

If you’re visiting for dinner, the elegant LED outlining of Miss Pho will invite you right into their warm interior vibe that’s paired with wooden cage down lights and lined with picture frames that showcase the history of the family-owned business.

They offer a unique dining experience with their “roll your own” menu items featuring options of perfectly balanced sugarcane prawns, grilled meatballs and of course their addictively crisp crackling pork, salt and pepper squid, tofu and mushroom (to name a few).

If you’re a seafood lover it will be hard to resist their fried soft shell crab that is glazed with the sweet and tangy flavour of passionfruit and enhanced with the lightness of “savvy B”.

In the cooler seasons you’ll be tempted by their Pho broth that embraces traditional Vietnamese herb and slow cooked with the creaminess of bone marrow.

Their menu offers a wide range of classic street food dishes such as the Banh Mi that they encourage to enjoy at any time of day, and of their vermicelli rice dish that they offer Wok-tossed, as well as an array of dumpling dishes.

Vegans and vegetarians, the Vietnamese appreciation for tofu will have you indulging in one of their many non-meat and non-dairy dishes such as the perfectly crisp salt and pepper tofu bites that pair perfectly with their little bit spicy and little bit irresistible chilli mayo dip.

They offer the very best of exotic fruit smoothies such as a blend of durian, custard apple, or an alluringly creamy avocado.

Their refreshing coconut beverage that you just pop your straw right into washes any meal down soothly, and of course, they offer to-die-for Vietnamese filtered coffee that is intensely strong and deliciously sweet. If you’ve never tried it before, you’ve never dined in a true Vietnamese experience.

Can’t make it to them, they can make it to you! Learn more about their catering services here.

They are open Tuesdays – Fridays for lunch and dinner sittings, and from lunch until late on weekends.

Book on their Facebook or check out their latest menu items on their Instagram.

Miss Pho is located at 252 The Parade, Norwood SA 5067.
