What started as a love affair with making beer has now become one of South Australia’s established brewing companies, and Big Shed Brewing Concern doesn’t seem to be slowing down.
Today, the company opened brewery number two, with the new space situated on Old Port Road.
Big Shed’s debut brewery on Brandwood Street, fondly referred to by the team as Big Shed 1.0, has functioned as a tasting bar and kitchen since 2014, serving up tap beers and burgers to eager guests.
Big Shed 1.0 will now be utilised as a live music venue and event space, with the Big Shed team stating on Facebook that they have “huge plans for the space.”
Of course, with a closed door comes an open one, and the farewell to Brandwood Street is succeeded by the welcome of Old Port Road.
The new venue is licensed for 250 people, and is now officially open to the public.

Big Shed Brewing’s new space is open from Thursday, December 5, at 1154 Old Port Road, Royal Park.
