Just five minutes from Munno Para and forty-five from Adelaide city, Esilio Wines is offering a weekend bottomless brunch with sweeping vineyard views, generous shared plates and free-flowing booze.
Every Saturday and Sunday, the Mantzarapis family-owned winery hosts a leisurely two-hour brunch experience curated by Head Chef Ryan Hooper and served across the sun-drenched lawns, under the gazebo, or in the cosy mezzanine area, depending on the weather.
“We wanted it to feel like coming to our home,” says Kat Mantzarapis.
“Our heritage is Greek, and our focus has always been good food, lots of food, good wine, and making sure people leave happy. Last time [Ryan] made the brunch, I was like ‘Oh my god, that’s way too much food,” she laughs.
The menu is a little fancier than Esilio’s usual offering, leaning into bold, crowd-pleasing flavours that you can’t recreate at home.
There’s zucchini fries with prosciutto salt, corn ribs tossed in chipotle butter, smoked bacon with tahini, chilli cream cheese and chives, and a chocolate tart for all the sweet lovers. The standout for Kat, though, is the house-made dukkah with olive oil pressed from the trees just outside and served with crusty sourdough.
At $85 per person, the brunch includes bottomless pours of Esilio’s estate-grown sparkling, rated 92 points by Halliday, alongside peach bellinis, mimosas, local beers, and coffee by D’Angelo Roasters. Non-alcoholic options are also available, and all dietary requirements are catered for.
What truly sets the Esilio experience apart is the farm-fresh, sustainable focus. Everything is prepared on-site, locally sourced or grown in the vineyard.
“The wines are definitely farm to table. That’s our unique selling point,” explains Kat.
“Everything is grown here and single vineyard, so we know exactly what’s going into every single bottle of wine that we’re serving people.”

The food and wine might be the drawcard, but the picturesque setting distinctly elevates the experience.
“I can’t tell you how beautiful the views are,” Kat adds.
“You can grab a bottle, sit on the lawn with a rug or cushion, and stay the whole day. We don’t have set sittings. We want people to take their time.”

Esilio is also available for larger group bookings and hosts everything from bridal showers and birthdays to hens days and baby showers, with a total capacity of 200.
“We’ll take any chance to showcase the wine and the venue,” she gushes. “And honestly, it doesn’t feel like you’re five minutes from suburbia.”
