There is a bubble tea boom in Adelaide, with varying different brands popping up on every city street corner imaginable.

If it seemed like the extremely popular Taiwanese drink was beginning to take over, get ready to add another one to the mix.

YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea is the new kid on the block and has plenty of other teas to compete with. From Hitea, Momentea, Chatime, Coco and Gong Cha you might be asking what makes this new addition different.

What YiFang is bringing to the table is a blend of exotic and authentic Taiwanese flavours, presenting a really cultural vibe to the local market in a way that most competitors don’t.

Where places such as Coco do taro slushes and Hitea have cheese topped mixes, YiFang is keeping it simple with traditional fruit and black tea flavours, but forging their own distinctive brown sugar teas, milk foams and Taiwanese specialities.

If you take a look back to the history of bubble tea, originating in 1983 with the introduction of tapioca pearls, the drink has become revered all across the world for its unique taste.

YiFang is relating to this history with its traditional selection, and using its distinctive new blends to stand out.

Sure to be a popular hit with bubble tea fans, the brand is sporting new mixtures such as star fruit juice, multi-floral honey mountain tea and roselle lemonade as well as all the popular flavours that typically appear in fruit tea.

You can find YiFang at 29 King William Street.
