New Cafe For Westsiders, As 94° West Arrives

If you’re a lover of all day breakfast, or even all day lunches, this place is for you.

For locals along Grange Road, there’s always been a great breakfast/coffee option with CIBO Locale serving up the goods. Since they opened around 2 years ago, it’s also been a great go-to for parents who are waiting for their little ballerinas while they twirl away across the road at Betty Ballerina.

Well in the latest evolution for the restaurant, the owners have broken away from the CIBO group, and have gone out on their own – reopening as 94° West.

With slick black and white branding now across the front and side of the building, and a great little outdoor area in the sun, there haven’t been too many other physical changes to the popular local hang out. There is a new menu however, and it’s delicious.

They’ve one-upped the all-day breakfast concept, and also offer an all-day lunch (loving this idea!) alongside a small menu for the kids.

The breakfast menu includes some of the cafe’s staples, like smashed avo on organic rye with feta, lime, beetroot, spiced pepitas and herbs; quinoa and buckwheat porridge with saffron poached pear, vanilla rhubarb, coconut yoghurt, pumpkin seeds and walnut; black rice pudding; toasted granola and acai smoothie bowls and your usual suspects like free range folded eggs on organic sourdough.

Lunch is all pretty amazing too, with dishes like the cauliflower fried rice with seared prawns, fried egg, house kimchi, pickled vegetables, bean shoot, daikon, coriander, lime & sriracha; 4-four masterstock beef brisket sandwich; haloumi burgers; salt & pepper squid; and the California sunrise salad with green oak, radicchio, heritage tomato, raw beet, cucumber, charred corn, coconut forbidden rice, quinoa, cauliflower, walnut, pomegranate, herbs, sumac, coconut flakes, and apple cider & agave dressing.

Check it all out at 225 Grange Road, Flinders Park or at www.94west.com.au/
