We’ve got some news for you as a new addition opens today! Savour an Eastern Mediterranean inspired cafe as Levant Eatery launches its second outing on Pirie Street!

Lunch breaks are always an thirty minute outing spent deciding what to get on Pirie Street where a wealth of options await you. Anything from Italian to Vietnamese can be found on this side of the CBD, well, we’ve got some news for you as a new addition opens today! Savour an Eastern Mediterranean inspired cafe as Levant Eatery launches its second location.

Levant Eatery first opened on the west side of Hindley Street and has been a hit with visitors who have been charmed by the culture spot. The family owned cafe was opened by the Sweedy family who migrated to Australian in 2000 and set out to bring the history, culture and taste of their home to Australia.

The name Levant refers to the Levant region which borders many Easter Mediterranean countries such as Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan and many more. This region heavily inspired the menu, and on top of that they’re also vegetarian and coeliac friendly with delicious salads and gluten free alternatives for their wraps so everyone’s welcome for a visit.

You can expect authentic street food like which you would expect from the kitchens of Eastern Mediterranean locations. Traditional flavours of couscous, falafels and halloumi in wraps, salads and sides alongside their fantastic Levant sauce. With freshly baked breads and wraps, Levant gives you the options on what you want inside but if you’re feeling indecisive they have their classics which you can choose too.

They also offer coffee so if you’re heading to work through Pirie, try out this new spot. You can find Levant Eatery’s second outing on the corner of Pirie Street and Coromandel Place. Otherwise, they can also be found on Hindley Street.
