New café Nourish on Campus opens at Adelaide Uni

Nourish on Campus has opened at the University of Adelaide boasting a comprehensive menu of grab-and-go bites and drinks.

University students now have a new spot for brain food between classes.

Nourish on Campus has opened at the University of Adelaide boasting a comprehensive menu of grab-and-go bites and drinks. They have coffee, baguette sandwiches, quesadillas, cold pressed juices, breakfast toasties and croissants, acaí bowls, salads, wraps, protein balls, and smoothies; Everything is homemade, and everything is designed with students’ busy schedule in mind.

“Students, staff, and faculty come out of their lecture or tutorial with only a certain amount of time before head into next one,” owner Lisa Whetstone says.

“We have fresh-made quick items ready to go.”

The new spot, rebranded at the beginning of this year, was previously Aroma Café, also owned by Whetstone, for nearly nine years. The business owner updated Aroma’s look and feel to better suit the café’s offerings.

“I wanted the brand to feel nice, fresh, and healthy on campus, so I did some research into colors and logos and came up with Nourish on Campus,” Whetstone tells us.

Since the rebrand, the spot has continued to be a go-to for students on campus, priding itself on its upbeat, chatty relationships with its studious regulars.

In the future, Whetstone is open to opening another location or two, but for now, her focus is squarely on Adelaide University’s Nourish on Campus.
