The Adelaide Hills has gained a brand-new cellar door with the welcome of Simon Tolley Wines Cellar Door, having opened to the public on Friday 30 April with Premier Steven Marshall in attendance.

The brand-new establishment presents a rustic and urban finish with polished concrete floors in what feels like a warm and humbling space that perfectly encapsulates the authenticity of Simon Tolley Wines.

Offering a choice of five cool range wine flights for $20, Simon Tolley Wines Cellar Door guests can also expect to accompany their tasting with artisan cheese from Section28.

With five generations of grape growers his family, a Bachelor of Applied Science, and a priceless bank of knowledge on how quality of fruit makes great wine, Simon Tolley knows nothing more than how to appease the pallet of his customers.

As a result of Simons extensive history in wine and vineyard management, guests can expect to enjoy a glass of classic Adelaide Hills, cool-climate wines unique to the region of South Australia.

All wines you can expect at Simon Tolley are crafted, fermented and bottled right there on the vineyard that covers 27 hectares at the Woodside property.

Not only will Simon Tolley Wines Cellar Door be host to a gorgeous space for wine tasting, but also have accommodation on offer on the same site at their award-winning luxury accommodation Simon Tolley Lodge.

“Not only can you come up for a taste, but you can stay up there for the weekend as well and it’s amongst a lot of other wineries around the area, so we’ve got a good offering for people to stay and see a range of wine on offer,” says Simon.

“It’s important to note that it’s going to be quite a family experience. We’re starting off small with myself and my wife and my kids are helping us out too. We’re going to try and fill the space before we grow, so it’s a personal offering.”

Simon Tolley Wines Cellar Door is open for business from Thursday’s to Sunday’s 11am – 5pm and Monday’s to Wednesday’s by appointment only.
