Kudasai Yakiniku has quietly popped up in Arcade Lane off Grenfell Street, bringing you to a night out in the streets of Asia.

The new laneway eatery presents a unique concept where customers enjoy Japanese inspired Charcoal BBQ in a completely outdoor setting.

It mimics an open market setting of urban Tokyo right in the heart of Adelaide.

The name Kudasai Yakiniku embodies the whole concept of the the popup itself; “Kudasai” means please is Japanese while “Yakiniku” means barbeque.

The pop up offers the best quality meats which are then served at half the portion and price compared to other BBQ restaurants.

Customers are welcomed into the rustic urban style street setting where they take a seat in the open air and are invited to cook up their own BBQ while also having a taste of the ready-to-eat dishes that are cooked up fresh by chefs.

The menu offers a selection of entrée, cooked meats, charcoal BBQ and sides. Entrees include small light dishes such as miso soup, steamed edamame and fried chicken karage.

The cooked meats on offer include wagyu scotch fillet skewers and spicy pork hock.

Meanwhile, the charcoal menu – which customers cook themselves on a Hibachi BBQ – is loaded with a variety of meat options.

This includes wagyu short rib, wagyu ox tongue, LA ribs, beef skirt, wagyu beef, pork belly, and even unagi eel.

There’s a selection of vegetarian sides they can BBQ including the mushroom platter, greens platter and salad platter.

While cooking up a BBQ on the balmy summer nights, customers can also enjoy ice cold drinks. There’s Japanese Sake, Korean Soju, Custom Cocktails, Tap Beer and Japanese beer to choose from.

Right as mad March is at our doorstep, Kudasai Yakiniku will be adding to the excitement that is taking over the city, and offering a unique and fun way to have a bite before you head out to your exciting show.

Check out Kudasai Yakiniku yourself for a BBQ experience like nothing Adelaide has seen.

Kudasai Yakiniku will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 6pm till late.

Kudasai Yakiniku is located at 110 Grenfell Street, Adelaide.
