Adelaide’s newest restaurant, Huami, is on the horizon as a part of Adelaide Casino’s $330m SkyCity expansion, and it promises a menu of authentic Chinese cuisine.

The much-anticipated Huami has been talked about since mid 2020 and is finally so close we can almost taste it! Huami offers an opulent space featuring a dining room large enough to host 110 guests in an intimate experience.

With three private dining rooms, Huami aims to take guests on a journey through Southern China in a contemporary take on the cuisine in what aims to be Adelaide’s finest Chinese restaurant.

Although not quite ready for its debut, if Adelaide’s Huami is anything like its SkyCity Auckland venue, guests can expect a focus on fresh, seasonal produce and flavours including wood-fired Peking duck and handcrafted dim sum with a specifically curated cocktail list to pair.

As if the food doesn’t promise to be enough, Huami is decked with gorgeous floor-to-ceiling pillars of dragons carved to perfection, as well as a jaw dropping 1200-bottle wine wall that adds to the restaurants already luxurious feel.

The restaurant comes as a part of a huge overhaul of Adelaide Casino which has already seen a number of restaurants and bars open including Sôl Bar and restaurant, ITL, Lucky Noodle and the perfect pre and post-game meeting spot, Westward Bar.
