Excitement is brewing in the South as Clarendon Hills Winery gears up to unveil its latest masterpiece – a brand-new cellar door on Brookmans Rd in Blewitt Springs.
This much-anticipated project, under the architectural guidance of Scott Meek of Stallard Meek Flightpath Architects (SMFA), is set to be an exciting showcase of eco-friendly innovation and cutting-edge design amidst the vineyards of one of South Australia’s famed wine regions.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of panoramic Blewitt Springs vineyards, the new cellar door will utilise both natural materials, green power sources and rain water harvesting programs to fully harmonise the facility within our pristine world class grape growing district.
As construction kicks off, the team at Clarendon Hills will be working diligently to launch this new Cellar Door in October.

The cellar door will play host to an array of heavily curated tasting experiences that highlight the most distinctive terroirs of McLaren Vale, Clarendon and Blewitt Springs sub regions of McLaren Vale.
For 35 years, Clarendon Hills has been dedicated to showcasing the distinctive flavors of these regions. The cellar door will offer curated tasting experiences, including current release tastings and extensive museum vertical tastings that span 20-25 years.
2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Clarendon Hills’ flagship wine, the Astralis Syrah – a Langtons classified wine celebrated for its excellence. The opening will coincide with major events celebrating this milestone, featuring 30-year-old vintages and ‘perfect’ 100-point examples for tasting and purchase.

Complementing the wine experiences, the cellar door will offer cheese plates and charcuterie options, ensuring visitors enjoy a well-rounded visit. With family-friendly outdoor areas designed to welcome visitors of all ages, Clarendon Hills is set to be a destination for everyone – from families to couples.
Appointments for special experiences and events will be essential, but walk-ins are always welcome for those spontaneous visits.
Keep an eye out for updates as Clarendon Hills Cellar Door prepares to open its doors to the public later this year.
