Red velvet cookie doughnuts. Lemon meringue tarts. Beetroot buns.
No, you’re not dreaming. You’ve stumbled across the best kept secret in Adelaide’s Wild West.
Lt Miss West, found in the heart of Woodville, is a freshly baked wonderland.
The café opened in January 2020, quickly gathering a mob of loyal followers. Alas, like many locations across Adelaide, it was forced to close during the initial COVID-19 restrictions.
Luckily for caffeine and sugar addicts alike, Lt Miss West is back.
If you’re strong enough to move beyond the sweets on offer (just for a second, I promise), you’ll be rewarded with an expertly brewed cup o’ joe. A perfect pair for your morning bagel.
Of course, if you are sugar averse, there’s a multitude of other dishes to brighten up your morning or afternoon. Favourites like the pulled-pork beetroot bun, or any of the healthy wrap options are perfect alternatives to munch on.
Whatever you choose, enjoy it in a space that is atmospheric and bright, under the watchful gaze of South Australian artist Viray Thach’s enchanting wall mural.
Grab your fix Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 2pm or on Saturdays from 8am – 1pm.
You can find Lt Miss West at 68B Woodville Road Woodville Adelaide, South Australia 5011.
