SA records new COVID-19 case in returning traveller

SA Health has commented the case is believed to be an old infection, and is not considered active, or a risk to the South Australian public.

One new COVID-19 case has been recorded in South Australia today, in a returning traveller from South Africa.

The woman is in her thirties, and was transiting through South Australia to New South Wales.

She was travelling alone, and is currently in quarantine in a medi-hotel.

SA Health has commented the case is believed to be an old infection, and is not considered active, or a risk to the South Australian public.

This brings the state’s total COVID-19 case number to 465.
