The biggest gym in Southern Hemisphere is coming to the old Elizabeth Holden Factory this year.

As the largest location in South Australia, Elizabeth promises to offer an unparalleled fitness experience when it opens later this year.

Currently, the state’s biggest gym is the Derrimut 24:7 Gym at Windsor Gardens which takes up a sizeable 5000square meters. This gym, though, will be a whopping 6200 square metres, although the size may increase by the time the gym is complete.

The facility’s new digital training concepts, as well as reformer Pilates and a basketball court, offer a range of workout options for members to enjoy. New and improved amenities, including saunas and plunge pools, will provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for members.

The new Derrimut Nutrition Bar will also be a welcome addition, providing a variety of food, juices, smoothies, and coffees to fuel and nourish members before and after their workout. A large retail space will also provide members with convenient access to a range of apparel, supplements & nutrition.

Additionally, the largest ladies gym fit out in South Australia is a significant milestone, reflecting the commitment of Elizabeth to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all members.

National Brand Manager Andre Pereira says that the new location will be an excellent addition to the Derrimut 24:7 brand in South Australia.

“I am excited to see this location enhance the fitness experience for our members in South Australia”.

By the year 2030, Derrimut’s dream for the future is to have 300 gyms operating both locally and internationally, creating a wonderful workplace for its staff while continually striving to be the industry leader in health and fitness.
