NEW dessert eatery The Dessert Factory opens in Plympton

The Dessert Factory’s offerings include individual cheesecakes, cakes, cupcakes, thick shakes, sinful smoothies, as well as the divine sounding, cake bucket!

One of Adelaide’s newest dessert eateries, The Dessert Factory is now open for business.

No stranger to North Plympton, owner Josh Vas has taken over the neighbouring space of his other endeavour, KJ Barbers.

The Dessert Factory’s offerings include individual cheesecakes, cakes, cupcakes, thick shakes, sinful smoothies, as well as the divine sounding, cake bucket!

When asking Josh Vas why he decided to open The Dessert Eatery he simple said, “my best mate David Bosco used to make cheesecakes years ago.

“I always said to him that we will build a big business that does this. We finally focused and joined forces with Gary and Eddie from ‘Not Your Average Cake Guys’ to make this a reality.”

The Dessert Factory has been open to bulk order/buy desserts, but now the general public will be able to sample their products for themselves.

“The launch will have our range along with some tastings. This day is about introducing our desserts and preparing for our Uber eats night time opening.” Josh says.

Josh also discussed his expectations for the grand opening and the business as a whole.

“Our core business is wholesale cheesecakes but we have a passion for customer service, presentation and the art of putting a sweet together.

“You can expect to see more stores open in the years to come.” says Josh Vas.

The Dessert Factory will be open every Saturday from 10-4pm.
