New Eastern Pizzeria, Bar38, Serves Up Artisan Pizza & Pasta

Bar38 is Adelaide’s newest pizzeria serving up classic pastas and pizzas from their impressive Mesiano wood oven.

Built on a history of successful cafes and bars, the lot at 308 Greenhill Road has once again transformed into a contemporary pizzeria, boasting a brand new cocktail bar fit-out inspired by the vibes and layouts of Melbourne’s own late night pizza bars and cocktail lounges.

Bar38 was designed around its impressive Mesiano wood oven that dishes out delicious wood oven pizzas, with chef Richard Miller taking a less is more approach.

Choose from classics done well, like margarita, carne (one for the meat lovers), tre formaggi (three cheese), as well as an entirely vegetarian pizza or a prosciutto option.

As a result of the pandemic, Bar38 also dove into delivering pastas, with flavours like creamy chicken pesto penne, fettuccine cabornara, and the dish no self-respecting Italian restaurant could go without — spaghetti bolognese.

Bar38 is currently open for both delivery and dine in, although with seating limited to ten patrons indoors as per restrictions, please book ahead if you want to eat inside.

While a cocktail menu is currently in the works, if you dine in, you’ll still have the option of an excellently curated list of wines and local beers.

Bar38 is open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday) from 4:30pm to late. Call 0432 749 164 to order for delivery or book for dining in.

You can find the pizzeria at 308 Greenhill Road, Glenside 5065.
