The opening will be happening from 11am until 1pm and there are plenty of surprises in store for people of all ages.
Kids, get ready for a whirlwind of excitement with balloon twisting and face painting, and soccer sensations Adelaide United Football Club player will make a special appearance to up the ante on the grand opening vibes.
And brace your taste buds, because here comes the juicy part: FREE Cheeseburgers are up for grabs with every large meal between 12pm and 1pm on the day via the front counter in restaurant. It’s like the burger universe is smiling down on us, folks.
Caffeine connoisseurs can also score a standard McCafé coffee for just $2 and a $2 Cheeseburger* via the MyMacca’s app from Saturday, 5th August until Friday, 1st September.
“We are excited to open our doors on McDonald’s Edinburgh North and provide jobs, training and development opportunities for the local community,” McDonald’s Australia Regional Director – South West Kelly Nardella says.
“The new restaurant will provide customers with a friendly and convenient place to access food and drinks, whether they’re popping in for a quick coffee or staying for lunch. We look forward to serving up our great tasting, great quality menu and providing feel good moments for our customers.”
Now, let’s talk about the new digs. The restaurant is fitted with modern décor, a dual lane drive-thru for those on the go, a partner delivery room, a McCafé that’s basically a cozy coffee haven, and a PlayPlace for kids to enjoy.

LED lights that are practically doing the electric slide to save energy? Check, check. Even the parking lot’s wheel stops are in on the sustainability action, containing recycled materials.
