New Fashion Festival For Up And Coming Designers Happening This Month

May I be Seen is a month-long festival of fashion showcases, giving local designers and clothing retailers a chance to share their work.

May 3 marks the beginning of May I be Seen, a month-long festival of fashion showcases, giving promising local designers and clothing retailers a chance to share their work.

May I be Seen is presented by NGF Events, an event company formed with the purpose of creating opportunities for those wanting to work in the fashion space. Every Friday night in May, local businesses will showcase their designs in intimate runway shows free of charge. These shows will also provide paid work for makeup artists and hairstylists, and give up and coming models important industry experience.

The finale show will feature the designs of the brilliant Cristina Tridente. As a South Australian fashion champion, Tridente is an inspiration to aspiring designers and an example of what it takes to make it in fashion. Event sponsors include Finesse Models Australia, Ulithorne Wine, Davroe, as well as major sponsor and venue, The Photo Gallery.

The Photo Gallery is located on Pulteney Street, making it easy for guests to grab a bite to eat or a tasty cocktail before or after a show.
