Angler fish & chippery brings the sea to the Adelaide Hills

Angler is committed to sustainable and ethical choices for the whole food chain, supporting the fishermen and growers to ensure when their seasons change, so do they.

There’s nothing quite like piping-hot, salty, burn-your-fingers-on-the-chippies fish and chips by the ocean, but now the power combo isn’t limited to beach days — you can get it in the Adelaide Hills too!

Angler was thought up by fish and chips enthusiasts, Sam and Mandy, who launched their passion project after finding themselves unsatisfied with Adelaide’s current fish and chip offerings.

The menu features a wide variety of beer battered, crumbed, grilled, and even wood fired fish like garfish, kingfish, salmon, tommy ruff, and yellow whiting — depending on your preferences.

You can have your fish with a side of hand-cut, triple-cooked chips and house-made sauces, in a bun (they also do chip buttys!), or served as sashimi.

There is also a number of other seafood for you to choose from, including blue swimmer crab, Eyre Peninsula abalone, Port Lincoln mussles, scollops, and heaps more.

Angler serves only market fresh produce prepared on site daily, even having partnered with SA Fair Fish to ensure local Fisherman get the credit they deserve for the hard work they do.

They are also committed to sustainable and ethical choices for the whole food chain, supporting the fishermen and growers to ensure when their seasons change, so do they.

All ingredients are sourced directly from suppliers to ensure the impact on the environment is minimised.

Angler is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30am to 8:30pm and Sunday from 11:30am to 7pm.

You can find them at Shop 5, 11 Mount Barker Road, Stirling 5152.
