Copper Coast is set to host the hottest, brand new 3 day festival May 27-29 celebrating everything food, light, art, music and entertainment.
Bringing life to the FLAME Festival are local groups and artisans with a range of performances, cultural displays, workshops and so many other creative events.
FLAME Festival will bring their lively celebration across Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo for the three day art extravaganza.
The newly released program is jam packed with unique experiences for the whole family including:
‘Wine and Nibbles with King Protea’-
Local artist Karen from studio Frankie and George is holding an interactive painting workshop inspired by the beautiful King Protea plant. For $100 you can bring your own painting home and sip on some wine.
‘Stories for Adults’-
Triple B Café are hosting the Storytelling Guild of South Australia who aim to keep the art of oral tradition and storytelling alive. Listen in to an enchanting line-up of stories including a traditional Japanese Kamishibai storytelling experience for only $5.
‘Fire and Quench Jewellery Making Workshop’-
Studio Surf are bringing their Swales Silver workshops to Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo this FLAME festival. Silver-smith Jasmine will guide visitors through creating their very own sterling silver ring before moving on to more advanced techniques. For $180, this all day session includes lunch and provided materials.

‘Yorkes Emporium Night Market’-
Food, light, art, music and entertainment celebrating the opening of this year’s FLAME festivities.
‘Moonta Mines Museum Night Lights’-
Join National Trust in lighting up historic buildings of the Moonta Mines Museum, a unique way to experience these iconic sites.
‘Salty Art Studio Open Gallery’-
See the beautiful coastal works from artist Bev created using found treasures. Artworks available for purchase!
FLAME Festival will begin on the 27th – 29th of May throughout the Copper Coast.
