After a successful first outing in January 2024, the New Found Sound music festival is returning to the port in summer 2025 for another epic night of local music in the historic township. On Saturday, the 18th of January, ten venues across the suburb will host some of Adelaide’s most exciting musical acts.

Whether you like punk, soul, jazz, or indie music, this year’s festival has something for everyone, with a lineup stacked with diverse Adelaide artists. This free, one-night-only event will be held across town, filling ten separate venues with the tantalising sounds of South Australia’s diverse music scene.

Beginning at 6PM and running late into the night, New Found Sound is about more than just music, with visitors invited to soak up the historic charms of Port Adelaide and try delicious local food and drinks while unearthing a dynamic wealth of local creative talent.

If funk is your flavour, Adelaide groups Silk, Tell Mama, and Live Slug Reaction will be lighting up the 10 Gallon Hat cocktail bar on St Vincent St. For a bit of rock and roll, the McGregor & Young Distillery on St Vincent Street will be home to Oscar the Wild, Birds are Spies, and The Genevieves. Or, if it’s pop-rock you’re after, My Chérie, Pash, and TONIX will be playing at Pirate Life Brewery on Baker Street.
